Tree removal isn't really complete until the stump is removed.
When a stump is left after tree removal it may re-grow even when poisoned, or it may rot, attracting decay causing fungus or even termites to your garden. If you are in the South East suburbs of Melbourne and need a tree stump removed Total Tree Care can help.
Our range of purpose built stump grinding machines will turn your ugly tree stumps into mulch, so you can replant, re-turf or even build over that very place.

Pricing
When stump grinding is part of a tree removal project, we will quote you a fixed seperate price for the stump. If you only need an existing stump from a previously removed tree done, we don't make site visits for quotes and instead work off a price range based on the diameter of the stump at ground level. As a rough pricing guide, stump grinding usually ranges from a minimum fee of $110 for a stump up to 30cm, around $220 for a stump up to 60cm and around $350 for a 100cm stump. Remember, the diameter is taken where the stump meets the soil, not higher up where it may have been cut as this is usually much narrower.
