Arboricultural Consulting

Arboricultural Consultation :  If you have concerns about your trees and just need verbal advice then an Arboricultural Consultation will be of value to you.  It is a bit like having a doctor make a house call, but in this case will be an Arborist giving your trees a check up!

Whether your area of concern is tree health, disease, decay, structure, safety, hazard assessment, retention value, neighbour or council disputes, council permit requirements etc we can help.

A Qualified Arborist will visit you to discuss your tree related concerns, assess and diagnose the problem.  Visual Tree Assessments are usually made from observations at ground level.  At times though, the best assessment of a trees structure can only be made from up close within the canopy.  Aerial Tree Inspection allows us to examine defects higher up in the tree, often finding major defects missed by other arborists.  Then your Arborist will make a verbal recommendation of the most appropriate solution.

You will get objective, unbiased advice on the health and safety of your tree, allowing you to make an informed decision rather than being "sold" on doing inappropriate work.  This is a paid, verbal service, usually ranging from $110-$165 for assesments performed at ground level.  Aerial inspection where the Arborist must climb the tree to make a closer inspection of a trees structure is usually around $220.  It may just be the wisest investment you could make for your trees.

Our service area is generally South and East suburbs of Melbourne, site visits outside of this may incur a small additional fee to cover travel time.

Beware of FREE advice. If your tree guy puts no value on their own time or knowledge of trees but has a truck and chipper to feed and a crew to keep busy they may well be talking you into doing completly uneccessary, even detrimental things to your trees just to fill their wallet.  Don't be fooled into spending $1500 removing a tree that only needed $400 worth of pruning and some mulch & water...
